I am a 1st grade teacher in Albemarle County, Virginia and I have been teaching for 18 years, all but the first 2 in 1st grade. I love teaching, especially 1st graders.
Here's a twist on the fun "Make A Word" games I've seen. It's Make A Sentence. My kids love to do the make a word so I thought this would be a nice alternative to them. It isn't pretty, but hopefully it will be fun.
Thanks for sharing, this will really help my ELL students who struggle with writing and getting words in the correct order. Personally I think that great ideas don't need to be pretty, they need to be engaging!

Thanks! I was looking for an update in my writing center. This lends itself towards many ability levels.
